When I search out someone that is famous that I am interested in following, there are usually multiple accounts trying to be that person. Is there a way on Twitter to figure out who the real person is?

Many of the celebrities or popular public figures on Twitter have had their account "verified."
Go to their profile. Look on the righthand side, right above their name, location, etc. If you see a blue badge with a check in it and the words "verified account" next to it, you know they’re the real deal.

I keep getting twitter updates on my phone. I removed the people following me that i keep getting them from, removed my number from the mobile page in my settings. I emailed twitter about it. And i still keep getting them. Is there any solution besides deleting my account and having to start over.

Go to the mobile tab in your Twitter settings and switch the device updates to "off". Click the link below when you are logged in to Twitter and it will take you there.

If you have forgotten your password, go onto the homepage and click the sign in drop down button. There will be a link saying ‘Forgotten your password?’. Click it and type in your email address or username and they will send you instructions to get your password via email.
If for some reason you do not want to/can not do this then if you can remember your twitter username, you can type in www.twitter.com/[your username] and that will be your page. If not you may have to make another twitter account with a different email (which can be easily made on www.msn.com) and then search for your old account on there using the ‘Find People’ button.
